HDFC cuts deposit rates

MUMBAI DEC. 6. HDFC has reduced interest rates for individual deposits by 0.25 per cent with effect from December 10. The annual income plan for a tenure of 12-23 months would now attract a rate of 5.75 per cent (6 per cent) while it would be 6.25 per cent for 36-84 months, according to a HDFC release. Under the monthly income plan, the revised rate is 5.5 per cent and 6 per cent respectively for these tenures. — PTI
