Gita yagna from December 12

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM Dec. 6. The Chinmaya Yuva Kendra is organising a Bhagavad Gita yagna of Brahmachari Sandeep Chaitanya at the Vylopilli Samskruthi Bhavan from December 10 to March 26.

This is the first time that a 108-day-long yagna is being organised by the kendra, the general convener of the yagna committee, K.K.Nair, said here today. As many as 18 chapters starting from `Dhyana sloka' would be discussed at the yagna.

The head of the Chinmaya organisations, Swami Thejomayananda, would inaugurate the yagna at a function to be presided over by the Travancore Devaswom Board president, N. Babu.

The State head of Chinmaya Mission, Swami Vivikthananda, the Thiruvananthapuram district head, Swami Satyananda and the Kozhikode district head, Swami Adhyatmananda, would address the function.

The Vylopilli Bhavan director, M. G. Sasibhooshan, the Chinmaya Vidyalaya Trust chief sevak, Mr. K. K. Nair, and Harindran Nair, would offer felicitations. The mission district president, Lekshmi Hari Govindan, would propose a vote of thanks.

The KSRTC would operate special services to different parts of the city after the yagna every day, Mr.Nair said.
