Police open fire in Hyderabad

Hyderabad Dec. 6. Police tonight fired in the Mughalpura area here to quell a mob protesting the demolition of the Babri Masjid.

As the trouble spread to the Sultanshahi area, the authorities rushed the Rapid Action Force and armed policemen to bring the situation under control.

Tension prevailed in Old City despite heavy police bandobust. — UNI
