Letters to the Editor
Sir, It was heartening to see the President, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, standing in a queue (Dec. 2) to cast his vote. He has set an example in discipline and decorum.
Aaron David,
Sir, Contrast this with some politicians who visit temples and other public places and jump queues, ignoring the plight of those who have been waiting for hours. Our political leaders should learn a lesson or two from Mr. Kalam.
S. Raghunatha Prabhu,
