Woman, daughter found dead in house

Bangalore Dec. 7. A woman and her 13-year-old daughter were found dead in their house in KHB Colony, Basaveshwarnagar, in Kamakshipalya Police limits in the city on Saturday.

The bodies of Anita (30), wife of an employee of the Indian Space Research Organisation, and their daughter, Spoorthi, were found hanging from ceiling fans in the house by neighbours, police said.

Anita's husband, Satish Chandra, was "an engineer in ISRO," police said. Investigation was on, they added.

Factory gutted

A plastic factory in Metro Layout, Nayandhalli, Mysore Road, was gutted in a fire accident on Sunday. The Fire Force sent eight fire tenders to the spot.

According to the Fire Force, fire tenders from its Rajajinagar, Mysore Road and Majestic stations were pressed into service.

Chandra Layout Police said investigation was on. The name of the factory was not known.
