Prakasam candidate ICWA exam topper

VIJAYAWADA DEC. 9. J. Anjaneswar got first rank in the ICWA final examination held at the national level in June 2003. He studied up to tenth class in Government high school at his native village Komarole in Prakasam district. He studied Intermediate with Mathematics, Economics and Commerce (MEC) at Umamaheswara Junior College at Ongole and obtained third rank at the State level in 1999. He won the Prathibha award from the Government that year. He completed the Foundation and Intermediate courses of both ICWA and CA examinations at Superwhiz. He appeared for the ICWA final examination in June 2003 for which results were announced at Kolkatta recently. Anjaneswar, Jayanth Varnakavi, Joginipalli Ajay and K. Balasubramanyam, who appeared for the examination at Vijayawada centre got first, second, fourth and ninth ranks respectively.

Contacted, Mr. Anjaneswar said that he had not taken any coaching for the final examination. He prepared himself for the examination with the help of study material supplied by the institute and some textbooks. Visibly happy, he said he had already got call letters from reputed firms like I.T.C and ONGC for interviews later this month for offering job.

He said his father was a small-time kirana merchant in his village and mother was illiterate.
