Works of Swadesabhimani to be published

By Our Staff Reporter

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM DEC. 9. The Kerala State Library Council will soon publish the collected works of Swadesabhimani Ramakrishna Pillai.

The first volume will be brought out in about three months, the well-known Marxist ideologue, P. Govinda Pillai, said.

He was speaking after receiving the Swadesabhimani award-2003, here, today.

Mr. Pillai said that he would donate entire award money to projects aimed at perpetuating the ideals of Swadesabhimani.

Speaking at the function, the Chief Minister, A. K. Antony, said `PG' was not one to be won over or be tempered by an award.

The victories achieved through incorrect means are always transient. Society needs to do an introspection to see whether Swadesabhimani's values can be upheld in today's commercialised world, he added.
