dated December 11,1953: Protest Against Peace Prize For Marshall

On the 10th, young protesters in the Aula Hall of Oslo University interrupted the function of presenting the Nobel Peace Prize to General George Marshall, former United States Secretary of State. Even as General Marshall was being handed the prize, a man started shouting in the gallery and throwing leaflets down onto the heads of the distinguished audience. Stewards forcibly removed him from the hall.
