Corruption's victim

Sir, — While it is some consolation that the Prime Minister has paid rich tributes ( Dec. 10 ) to Satyendra Dubey, it is imperative to hasten the passing of the Whistle-Blower's Bill which has been gathering dust for some months now.

Also, with the entrusting of Dubey's murder case to the CBI, the agency's workload increase warrants the strengthening of its machinery to enable it to deal speedily and effectively with the several other scams as well that have surfaced recently.

N.K. Suryanarayanan,
Bangalore
