The peace process

Sir, — I refer to C. Raja Mohan's article "Time to consolidate process" ( Dec. 10 ). The so-called peace initiatives by India and Pakistan will not produce any result. The much talked about people-to-people contact will not pressure the Pakistan Government because the military is in power.
