Letters to the Editor
Sir, Kudos for remembering Rajaji on his 125th birth anniversary when almost everyone has forgotten this great son of India. At least the Tamil Nadu Government should popularise his writings by including it in the school syllabus. This will be a great tribute to a man whose simplicity and intellect were unparalleled.
R. Muralikumar,
Sir, The generation born after Independence knows very little about Rajaji. Is there any leader today who has his intellectual integrity, indomitable courage and absolute simplicity?
C.K.Ramachandran,
Sir, The article on Rajaji, "A progressive conservative" (Dec. 10), was timely. His greatness as politician, freedom fighter, and administrator are all well known. He was prepared to take on any task in the interest of the nation.
A. Jacob Sahayam,
Sir, Rajaji's seminal translations of the Ramayana and the Mahabharata into English are his gifts to generations to come.
Pradeep Kumar M.,
Sir, It is indeed heartwarming that the 125th birth anniversary of Rajaji and The Hindu coincide.
Prasanna S.,
