Sir, — The evergreen matinee idol Dev Anand richly deserves the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. None to beat Dev for good looks.

Sir, — The conferment of the Dadasaheb Phalke Award on Dev Anand is a fitting tribute to his multi-faceted contribution to the growth of Indian cinema in general and the Hindi film world in particular.
