New name for Geojit

KOCHI: The Kochi-based Geojit Securities will henceforth be known as Geojit Financial Services Limited. The new name comes with a new logo as well. The changes were made in tune with its expansion of services, according to C. J. George, Managing Director of the company. The company which was started 17 years ago as a stock broking firm, had entered the derivatives market and was operating call centres, he said.
