AirTel's offer for W. Region

MUMBAI DEC. 10. AirTel, Bharti Televentures' mobile telephony division, has launched InnoWest — its new consolidated strategy for the entire western region covering Mumbai, Maharashtra and Goa, Gujarat, MP and Chhattisgarh.

InnoWest includes free airtime on all incoming calls while roaming in this region. This will be applicable for WestRoam as well as National roaming customers.

Customers will be required to pay only interconnect charges of Rs. 2.99 per minute (earlier Rs. 6.44 per minute). Also, all national and local SMS now is offered at a flat rate of 40 paise only.

AirTel also is offering RateSaver, a 15 per cent discount on calls beyond two minutes and a 30 per cent discount on calls more than five minutes.

It has also announced a 33 per cent reduction in CLIP charges from Rs. 75 to Rs. 49.
