Addressing a press meet here, he said the alleged row between him and the Zilla Parishad Chairman, B. Venkatramudu, might have hurt the feelings of Kuruva community as he was accused of abusing in the name of caste. Clarifying that he did not insulted either the community or the ZP chief, the Minister said even then he owed an explanation to Kuruva community. The Minister said he was a staunch supporter of Backward Classes and would remain to be so in future.
