Letters to the Editor
Sir, The CBI probe into the murder of Satyendra Dubey, who had exposed corruption in the execution of the golden quadrilateral road project in Bihar, is welcome. Arresting a couple of goons and closing the case will not solve the underlying problem of criminalisation of the polity and society.
Shashi Kelkar,
Sir, Surely people in power and position should have known the consequences of revealing the identity of an honest officer.
Lakshminarasimhan Mohan,
Sir, While we need more men like D.P. Ohja, former DGP of Bihar, it is also essential that proper measures are taken to protect whistle blowers like Dubey and others, who stand tall to take on and expose a corrupt establishment.
Shreela Satish,
