CDC ups stake in Swaraj Auto
MUMBAI
DEC. 11.
The British investment firm CDC-PTL Holdings Ltd and its subsidiary CDC Financial Services (Mauritius) Ltd have acquired 2.26 lakh shares of Swaraj Automotives Ltd (SAL) from Industrial Development Bank of India. The purchase of shares of the face value of Rs. 10 at a price of Rs. 24 constitutes over one per cent of the paid-up capital of SAL, an IDBI release said here.
The U.K.-based private equity investor had earlier acquired the Punjab Government's 23.5 per cent stake in Punjab Tractors.
