BHEL signs deal with Ambuja Cement

NEW DELHI: The Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has signed a deal to supply a 15 MW steam turbine generator to the Ambuja Cement Eastern Limited's captive power plant at Bhatapara near Raipur in Chhattisgarh.

The new plant would meet all power requirements of the facility. BHEL had earlier supplied and commissioned a 15 MW STG set for the company's group concern Gujarat Ambuja Cement's (GACL) captive power plant at Maratha Cement Factory near Chandrapur in Maharashtra.
