Well done

Sir, — I appreciate the Iranian human rights lawyer, Shirin Ebadi, who, while receiving the Nobel Peace Prize, took the U.S. to task for breaching international law and human rights using the September 11 attacks (Dec. 11). Not that her remarks will bring about a metamorphosis in the attitude of the Americans but it will certainly make them realise the increasing numbers that are vehemently against their misadventure in Iraq.

V. Rajesh,
Mumbai
