UTI Bank's ATM in Sikkim

GANGTOK DEC. 12. UTI Bank today set up what is billed as the world's highest ATM, situated at Thegu in East Sikkim at an altitude of 13,200 ft.

Built with Scottish technology at a cost of Rs. 20 lakhs, the ATM has been so designed as to function smoothly in extreme cold conditions, R. K. Niyogi, the bank's senior vice-president, said.
