Shasun's EDQM programme

CHENNAI: Shasun Chemicals and Drugs has been inspected and formally approved by the European Directorate for Quality of Medicines as part of EDQM programme for the inspection of pharmaceutical starting materials manufacturers and brokers within the certification procedure for ranitidine hydrochloride Form I, ranitidine hydrochloride Form II and Form II direct compression grade produced by the company at its plant in Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu. The inspection was held in the first week of October.
