Hyderabad: Dec.12. The Government is undertaking a mass distribution of sports kits from January 18 to youth clubs and educational institutions as part of the "One-crore-Boon" programme. Each Assembly constituency will be given about 100 kits, consisting of balls, bats, boards and other paraphernalia relating to cricket, volleyball, chess, carroms and football. The Commissioner for Youth Services, G. Kamalavardhan Rao, told district Collectors at the weekly video-conference of the Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu, at the Secretariat this evening, that 30 per cent of the kits would be given to educational institutions high schools, junior collges and degree colleges, and the rest to the eligible youth clubs existing at different levels. However, only the kits of the first three cricket, volleyball and chess, would be allowed to the youth clubs.
