Advani's charge against Congress governments
Aheri (Maharashtra)
Dec. 14.
The Deputy Prime Minister, L. K. Advani, today held `bad governance' by the Congress responsible for the non-development of many areas of the country and said the newly-elected BJP governments in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan would make a difference.
Speaking at a public meeting, after unveiling a statue of Gond King, Raje Vishweshwar Rao, here he said the Congress had ruled the country for more than 45 years but failed to provide good governance.
``The BJP-led government of the Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, at the Centre was providing good governance. Non-development of many parts and areas in the country during the Congress rule was because of ill-governance.'' PTI
