ESI limit raised

NEW DELHI DEC. 16. The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has decided to enhance the wage ceiling for coverage of employees under the scheme to Rs. 7,500 a month from the existing Rs. 6,500 a month. The new ceiling will come into force shortly and will be reviewed after two years.
