Good response to Indian Bank's loan fair

TIRUCHI: The two-day home loan fair organised by the Circle Office of the Indian Bank at its Thillainagar branch on December 13 and 14 evoked good response. Loan applications from 252 persons amounting to Rs. 10.54 crores were received during the fair. Also enquiry regarding group housing loan from government employees for Rs. 5 crores was received. The features of the bank's recently introduced scheme of loan for purchase of house plots were explained. Those who avail this loan have to construct the house within five years from the date of purchase of the plot.
