Pointing to close coordination between Indian and Bhutanese security forces, helicopters arranged by the Indian Army evacuated some of the seriously wounded, a statement from the Embassy said this evening. The militants have also suffered casualties, but Bhutanese authorities were not in a position to provide precise details of the dead and the wounded. The operations launched on Monday are targeted at the United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA), the National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) and the Kamtapur Liberation Organisation (KLO) militants based in Bhutan.
