K.K. Rajiv, who directed the serial, has been adjudged the best director. The society president, Kuttiyanikadu Madhu, and the jury member, Kattoor Narayana Pillai, told mediapersons here today that the telefilm `Sri Narayana Guru' won the award for the best docu-fiction. `Agni Sakshiyude Sakshi' directed by Sajeev Pazhoor, bagged the award for the best documentary. Prem Prakash and Pravina were adjudged the best hero and heroine for their performance in `Swapnam'. Kalady Jayan won the award for the best supporting actor for his role in the serial, `Nethravati' and Sreevidya was selected as the best supporting actress for her roles in `Vasundhara Medicals' and `Swapnam'. The awards were for the television programmes between January and December this year. The awards will be presented at the Travancore Beach Festival to be held at the Shangumughom Beach Resort on December 27, they said.
