Assault on pastors: hunt on for culprits

Thiruvananthapuram Dec. 21 . The Peroorkada police have registered a case in connection with the attack on three pastors belonging to the South India Assemblies of God, near Nalanchira on Thursday evening. The pastors were attacked when they were returning after a prayer meeting at the house of Rajan in Chencheri lane, near Nalanchira. The injured prayer group members were identified as Paul K. Chandran, Baby John and Chellayan.

Police said an investigation was underway to identify and arrest the accused persons. An official said that some of the persons who carried out the attack were criminal elements in the locality.
