Sir, This refers to the landmark judgment by Supreme Court, `None has the right to destroy property during a strike' (Dec. 18). When those at the helm of affairs behave irresponsibly, how can a citizen expect that his life/property will not be in jeopardy during a strike/bandh. Most of the strikes/bandhs are organised by political parties just to oppose the party heading the Government without any concern for the common people. C.S. Venkataraghavan, Chennai
