Dry weather in Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry

CHENNAI DEC. 22. Isolated rainfall occurred over Kerala and dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Lakshadweep.

Alapuzha recorded 1 centimetre rainfall.

The minimum temperature fell at one or two places over Telangana, rose appreciably at one or two places over Coastal Karnataka and changed a little elsewhere over the region.

They were appreciably below normal at one or two places over coastal and south interior Karnataka, Telangana, north Tamil Nadu, below normal at one or two places over coastal Andhra Pradesh and were generally normal over the rest of the region.

Adilabad recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 8 degree Celsius in the plains of the region.

FORECAST (Valid until Wednesday morning): Mainly dry weather will prevail over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

FORECAST For Chennai City and Neighbourhood: Partly cloudy.

Farmers Weather Bulletin for Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry : Mainly sunny weather will prevail over Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.
