According to CISF sources, Syed Shujaulla (34) and Amreen Fathima (27), doctors from Bangalore, were to board the Gulf Airways flight to Bahrain. The CISF sources said a woman security official heard a loud beep from the metal detector, when Fathima, who had tied an overcoat around her waist, passed through. She was then asked to pass the overcoat through the X-ray baggage identification system, and four bullets were found concealed inside the lining of the overcoat. They told presspersons that the bullets were stitched in four parts of the overcoat. On inquiry, the couple said they had bought the overcoat from a roadside shop in Shivajinagar here, and they had no knowledge about the bullets inside it. They were handed over to the Bangalore City Police for further investigation.
