Ms. Gandhi told the MPs that steps had been taken to formulate strategies and form election management teams for the coming elections to the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly and a possible early Lok Sabha election. Ms. Gandhi said the Bharatiya Janata Party had embarked on a "systematic campaign" to denigrate the achievements of the previous Congress Governments. `FIR delayed deliberately' Referring to the registering of a case by the CBI against the former Union Minister, Dilip Singh Judev, she alleged that the FIR was deliberately delayed with the intention of sparing the BJP more embarrassment during the election.
