Letters to the Editor
Sir, I refer to the former Prime Minister, Narasimha Rao's reaction to his acquittal in the Lakhubhai Pathak cheating case (Dec. 23) that he had been waiting for the moment for eight years. Mr. Rao is a grossly underrated person. Even Congressmen refuse to give him his due. Did he not, while heading a minority government, provide stability to the nation? Was he not instrumental in removing the shackles on the economy? U. Subramaniam, Madurai, T.N.
