HSL-built tug for Mormugao

VISAKHAPATNAM: The Hindustan Shipyard Ltd. (HSL) handed over the second 45-tonne Bollard pull tug to the Mormugao Port Trust. The first one was delivered in March. The in-charge Chairman and Managing Director of HSL, Commodore Y. Janardhan, formally flagged off MT Chapora, the twin-screw Voith Schiender cycloidal propulsion tractor tug, at the shipbuilding complex here on Wednesday, on her maiden voyage to Mormugao port. The tug is 31.80 metres long, with a breadth of 11.25 m and moulded depth of 4.40 m. It can carry on board 12 persons. — Our Special Correspondent
