Attack on Zee

Sir, — The attack on the office of Zee television by miscreants, including an NCP activist, was shocking. If the media, which is a pillar of democracy, is not secure from such attacks, how safe is the common man? It appears as if a crisis of confidence has gripped the NCP in the wake of the Telgi scam.

Sir, — The attack has been used as an alibi by Chhagan Bhujbal, notwithstanding his statement about `moral responsibility'. The leader was already under pressure to go.
