Sahaja outwits Sai Nirupama

KOZHIKODE DEC. 25. M. Sahaja of Andhra shocked top seed and teammate K. Sai Nirupama in the second round of the 17th National under-9 chess championship at the Chess India Complex here on Thursday. The opening round also produced some surprises in the girls' section, as Pranali Patil of Maharashtra and Andhra's A.R. Priya, seeded third and fourth respectively, were beaten by Sapnita Shinde of Chattisgarh and Priyanka Kumari of Bihar.
