L&T bags big NHPC order

MUMBAI: The ECC division of Larsen & Toubro has bagged a mega order from the National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) for Rs. 921.60 crores. The order is for the civil and structural work for its 2000 MW (8X250 MW) Subansiri lower hydroelectric project. The Subansiri lower hydroelectric project plant will generate power from the river Subansiri located in lower Subansiri District, Arunachal Pradesh, and Demaji District of Assam. — Our Staff Correspondent
