Indian among Canada's 100 powerful women

Chandigarh Dec. 27. Manishi Sagar, a woman from Chandigarh who runs day care centres and schools in Quebec, has been recognised as one of Canada's most powerful women.

Ms. Sagar, who is the president of the Kinderville group, was recently honoured as one of the 100 most powerful women of Canada by the women's executive network and the University of Western Ontario's Richard Ivy School of Business.

She told reporters here today that the winners were selected from across Canada from a list of nominees. — PTI
