Abhijeet, Thej share lead

PATNA DEC. 27. Abhijeet Gupta held Thej Kumar in the fifth round match in the National under-25 chess championship here on Saturday. They jointly lead with 4.5 points each.

Top seed Himanshu Sharma defeated C. J. Arvind for his fourth straight victory. He is now in the joint second spot with Rishi Pal Singh, K. Ratnakaran and K. Ramu.
