Bullets case: couple innocent

BANGALORE DEC. 27. The live ammunition found in an overcoat of a passenger couple at the airport here was part of the junk consignment despatched by foreign countries to the Gujarat port.

According to police sources, the overcoat was part of consignment sent to the port from Argentina. It was stated that some of the traders in the city had brought the junk and sold it on the streets. Following a raid by the police on some of the godowns in Shivajinagar and Russel market, over-coats containing foreign currencies were found.

The sources said that the passenger couple were innocent.
