Dubey murder: one held

New Delhi Dec. 28. The CBI has detained one person in connection with the murder of the National Highways Authority official, Satyendra Dubey, even as an initial probe indicated that it was the result of a roadside robbery.

The CBI had detained a rickshaw-puller, Pradeep Kumar, for custodial questioning at its headquarters here, official sources said. It has been alleged that he was murdered after he pointed out the corruption in the construction of the Golden Quadrilateral Project in Bihar.
