Krishnam Raju arrives in Tirupati

TIRUPATI Dec. 28. The Union Minister of State for Rural Development, U.V. Krishnam Raju, was accorded a warm welcome when he arrived in the Tirupati railway sation on a two-day political mission clubbed with a pilgrimage to the hill temple of Lord Venkateswara. He later proceeded to Sathyavedu on the AP-Tamil Nadu border to participate in the BJP's `Neeti kosam-Bhoomi kosam' programme. Among those who received and accompanied the Minister were the Tirupati MP, N.Venkataswamy, the former Chairperson of the AP College Service Commission, M.D. Narayana Naidu.
