Shuffling in Police department

Pondicherry Dec. 28. The Home Department of Pondicherry has effected shuffling among Superintendents of Police here. The transfer and posting orders were issued by the Administrator of the Union Territory and came into immediate effect, according to a communication received from K.K. Singh, Under Secretary to Home Department, on Sunday.

Firoz Zia Hussain, the SP (CID), has been transferred and posted as SP (North) vice V.J. Chandiran transferred to the post of SP (Pondicherry Training School).

The Superintendent of Police (Training School), V. Rajmohan has been transferred and posted SP (Pondicherry Rural sub-division).

The Superintendent of Police (Specialised Intelligence Gathering Machinery popularly known as SIGMA (Intelligence), M.P. Muthiah, has been transferred and posted as SP (CID) vice Firoz Zia Hussain transferred.

The Superintendent of Police (SIGMA security), S. Kuppusamy, has been transferred and posted as SP (Karaikal) vice the SP N. Stalin Jason, transferred to the post of SP (SIGMA security) in Pondicherry. Stalin Jason will also look after the duties of SP (SIGMA intelligence) in addition to his normal duties, the communication said.
