Another engineer dies

PATNA Dec. 29. Yet another engineer working on the Prime Minister's Golden Quadrilateral road project died under mysterious circumstances in Gaya district of Bihar on Sunday night.

Associated with Gammon India Ltd. and posted at Sherghati, the engineer, Amit Kumar, was feeling uneasy and vomited while at a party with his friends in the evening. He died soon after admission to a hospital.

The National Highway Authority of India project manager, S.K. Dubey, who had complained to the Prime Minister about corruption in the mega road project, was shot dead by unidentified persons here on November 27.
