Passing orders on a petition by Mr. Azhagiri, Justice A.K. Rajan permitted him to move out of Vellore where he was residing since November 18 as per the bail conditions laid down by the High Court. Only on December 24, did Mr. Justice Rajan permit Mr. Azhagiri to visit Madurai for two days. Mr. Azhagiri was arrested on May 21 in connection with the murder of T. Kiruttinan. He was granted conditional bail on August 11 and was directed to reside in Bangalore. On November 18, the court permitted him to reside in Vellore.
