Bihar
By K. Balchand
Even as rail traffic remained paralysed, miscreants set fire to two more jeeps demanding immediate action against the Deputy Superintendent of Police and the local Mukhiya. According to official sources, trouble had been brewing for well over a fortnight with a Shiva Lingam surfacing in the graveyard. There was an alleged attempt to encroach upon the land of the graveyard. Efforts to find a solution proved futile and the officials were forced to remove the idol. Officials said the situation was tense but under control.
