Plan to blow up trains foiled

Jammu Jan. 3. Foiling militant plans to blow up trains on Jammu-Pathankote track, security personnel recovered 32 kg of RDX in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said today.

The explosive, along with electronic fuses and codex wire, which was to be used for preparing landmines to target trains, was recovered after Army personnel launched a search operation in the hills of Kathua last evening, they said.

The recoveries were made from forest area but no one has been arrested in this connection. — PTI
