Salute to the Army

Sir, — The article, "Call of duty came first" (Jan. 4) about Lt. Trivini Singh who laid down his life fighting the militants at the Jammu railway station made poignant reading. It makes us understand what the Indian Army is made of. Articles like these are motivating for the younger generation to join the armed forces.
