`No Indian insurgent camp in Bangladesh'

By Our Special Correspondent

NEW DELHI JAN. 6. Bangladesh has said there are no camps of Indian insurgents on its territory. ``There is not a single Indian insurgent camp in Bangladesh. We do not harbour any insurgents,'' the Bangladesh Rifles Director-General, Maj. Gen. Mohammad Jahangir Alam Choudhary, said here today.

The BDR chief is here to attend the bi-annual border coordination conference with the Border Security Force (BSF) that began today. India has handed over a list of about 150 camps operating in Bangladesh in support of its claim.

In his welcome address, the BSF Director-General, Ajai Raj Sharma, said that adopting a coordinated, comprehensive action plan could solve complex problems on the India-Bangladesh border.
