Exclusion of Madhwacharya's name irks seer

BANGALORE JAN. 6. Sugunendra Tirtha Swamiji of Puttige Math, Udupi, has taken objection to the exclusion of the name of Madhwacharya from the "Nada Geete", "Jaya Bharatha Jananiya Tanujathe.." In a press release issued on Tuesday, the Swamiji said the authorities concerned should take steps to include the name of Madhwacharya in the song to set right the mistake. "It is an irony that a great philosopher and saint is being disrespected in the State when the entire world is turning towards spirituality," he said.
